Dr. Mikkelsen grew up in Gregory, SD, and chose the University of South Dakota to further his education and football career. After graduating with his BS in Biology, he attended chiropractic school at Northwestern Health Sciences University.
After graduation from NWHSU in 2010, he joined the team at ChiroSport. He enjoys treating all patients but especially active lifestyles and athletes. His goal for each patient is to fix their problem in the fewest visits possible.
Outside the office, he and his wife Abbey have two children, Knox and Nyla. In his spare time, you can find him on the golf course, archery hunting, working out, or at a concert or sporting event.
